About
All About Me
Born and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland, I was raised by two parents both working in emergency medical response, and I have one younger brother. I then moved down to Conway, South Carolina to attend Coastal Carolina University and receive my Bachelor's Degree in Communication. After graduation, I moved back to Maryland to take a position at American University Library, and now reside in Rockville, MD. Working at American University has further developed my professional experience and given me insight into the non-profit sphere and advancement communications for a higher education institution.

I am an intrinsically motivated and dedicated worker. I thrive in both self-sufficient and team environments. I worked for a student-run Public Relations firm for 2 years, and held numerous leadership positions across different organizations throughout my time in college.
I specialize in strategic communications and brand management and also have in-depth experience in content creation and corporate communications. I've helped form two different brands over the course of three years. I enjoy both remote and in-person work, I've found my style to be goal-oriented and work by establishing the objectives and tactics to reach the end goal before diving into a project.

My ultimate career goals are centered around giving a voice to those who don't have one and creating impactful work that promotes positive change in society. I am driven by the desire to advocate for individuals or groups whose voices may be marginalized or unheard. Through my professional endeavors, I aim to contribute to projects and initiatives that address social issues and foster improvement in various aspects of our community. By leveraging my skills and passion, I aspire to make a meaningful difference and contribute to a more inclusive and equitable world.
